Women’s Summit Series Verbier GORE-TEX® Jacket

This jacket is the ultimate in protection, function, and feel. It's like putting on my uniform to head to the mountain, and it lets me focus on my own skiing and not think about anything else. It keeps me dry and protected where I live in the wet PNW, and also is breathable enough for all the hikes I do, from a quick ten minute bootpack to a full ski tour on a snowy day. It has the perfect pocket placement for all of my gear (ski pass, goggle cloth, large chest pockets for snacks and camera, and a small front pocket for lip stuff, etc.). This jacket is more of my backcountry jacket for longer days, it's a bit softer and with a slightly lighter feel than the Tsirku (see my other recommendation) which is my lift-riding on hill jacket, because the Tsirku has Spectra ripstop added to it.
