When I look for a helmet, I first want to make sure it has MIPS, which is the best possible protection in a helmet, developed alongside hockey and football players to minimize impact. Giro led this technology in their partnership with Bell Sports, and still leads with MIPS today. This helmet is lighter and more breathable, I can leave it on for hiking, stash it in my backpack for touring, and also know I'm protected. It has a minimal silhouette, is easily adjustable with a spherical adjustment, and keeps me dry and protected without being heavy or bulky.
